Gold Bullion Mountain Bluet

The Centaurea `Gold Bullion\’, Centaurea montana, has small thistle-like single flowers at the end of a delicate stem, being bright blue and very showy. With a height of 18-24\” and a plant width of 18-24\”, it is an excellent late summer to early fall bloomer. The foliage color of `Gold Bullion\’ is more unique than the rest. Use Centaurea `Gold Bullion\’ massed in border fronts, cottage gardens or naturalized areas. For planting with other perennials, try `Illumination\’ Vinca, `Variegated\’ Sedum or Echinacea `Purple Coneflower\’.
