The Ligularia `Przewalskii Leopard Plant\’, Ligularia przewalskii, has a wonderful clear, yellow daisy-like flower with huge leathery, toothed, heart-shaped, basal leaves. New leaves emerge purplish-red but turn to brownish-green. Blooming from July to August, `Ligularia Przewalskii\’ has a plant height of 4\’ and a spread of 36\”. It must have moist soil and should never be allowed to dry out. Use Ligularia in group or mass plantings, as an accent plant, in woodland gardens, or along streams, ponds, pools or bog gardens.
