White Buttons Daisy

The Daisy White Buttons, \’Chrysanthemum paludosum\’, has masses of small 1/2 to 1 inch white flowers with yellow centers that bloom for months and months. The bright white flowers look radiant in the light of a full moon. There are so many flowers, it is hard to see the foliage. They bloom continually from spring until fall. Shear the White Buttons Daisy back in mid summer to encourage better fall bloom. The White Buttons Daisy makes excellent cut flowers and is used in window boxes, pots, rock gardens and as an edging plant.

The Tomato Bush Green Zebra, \’Lycopersicon Lycopersicum\’, is an old heirloom variety. Green Zebra is very flavorful, sweet, yet zingy and well balanced and not too acidic. They are entirely crack free and unique. Green Zebras are a rich, golden green with forest green stripes and a very smooth skin. The tomatoes are tennis ball sized, about 3 to 4 ounces. Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day.

The Marigold Durango(TM) Bee, \’Tagetes patula\’, is very easy to grow. The Durango series of Marigolds belongs to the French group of Marigolds. They produce 2\” - 2.5\” anemone type flower heads. The early, free-flowering plants have uniform heights of 10 to 12 inches with good branching. The Durango Marigold Bee\’s are well suited to life in containers as well as beds. Plant in full sun to light shade in fertile well drained soil either in beds or containers. Space plants 6\” to 10\” apart. This French Marigold is an outstanding performer in the garden.
