American Maidenhair Fern

The American Maidenhair Fern, Adiantum pedatum, is a deciduous, clump-forming fern which typically grows 1.5 to 2\’ tall and is most frequently found on rich wooded slopes, ravine bottoms and damp shady woods. American Maidenhair Ferns prefer moist, shady conditions, but will grow in sunnier spots if kept moist. Wiry stems are reddish-brown to black. Crosiers (coiled young fiddleheads) emerge pink in spring. The attractive foliage is showcased in container plantings, foundation plantings, and groundcovers.

Londense Privet

The Londense Privet, Ligustrum vulgare lodense, is a dwarf privet hedge plant. It is very dense and compact. Ideal for a low hedge. Dark green foliage with white flowers. If left untrimmed it will reach a height of 4 feet.This privet is grown as a hedge plant because it tolerates shearing and is quite dense. The plant is densely branched but quite irregular in shape if not sheared. Privet tolerate most light exposures but is not as dense in the shade. It is easily transplanted and grows rapidly, and it retains its leaves into late fall.

Trumpeter Rose

The Rose Trumpeter produces brilliant orange red blossoms that are lightly ruffled and bloom on a low rounded bush. This easy flowering Floribunda is heavily branched which makes it an ideal hedging rose or a great specimen by itself. The foliage is a glossy medium green color and is healthy and strong.
